I have visited several blogs especially dealing with special education and I have found it to be very interesting to see the suggestions, ideas, comments and strategies that other people can provide. It opened up a whole world of special education that I hadn't experience before. I visited these 3 blogs that gave me great ideas for the classroom, technology for special education:
http://teachinglearnerswithmultipleneeds.blogspot.com , http://specialclassroom.blogspot.com/2012/05/butterflies.html?showComment=1342649785328#c1729185285745163072 , and
http://nolimitstolearning.blogspot.com/. I have also joined Diigo which can keep me connected to my NMS group and share ideas between us.
Sharing ideas online is not as overwhelming as I thought it was going to be. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes easier and more enjoyable. You have to keep in mind that many, many people may read your ideas and/or your posts and that aspect is a bit different. Usually you share your ideas with a few people but this opens up sharing in a whole different way.
I will continue to find blogs on special education in the future so I can share those ideas with others.
